FREE PIANO RECYCLING or DISPOSAL for overstrung pianos in working order and with no pieces missing.  For such pianos, the disposal/recycling charge may be waived as they are easier to rehome.

FREE PIANO RECYCLING CHECKLIST:

Is the piano overstrung string layout?  (This means the strings are diagonal rather than straight)

Is the piano in full working order & tuneable?

Is the piano complete with no pieces missing?

Is the casework clean and in good condition?

Is the piano suitable for a beginner up to Grade 5 or beyond?

If the Answer is YES to ALL of the above questions, we will collect and recycle / rehome your old unwanted piano, FREE OF CHARGE, Nationwide often within the week, at worst, within 3 weeks.

SEND one email now to jon@pianospeed.com.  Include NAME, COLLECTION ADDRESS & BEST CONTACT NUMBER, and an overall photograph of the front of the piano, a photograph of the keys, a photograph of the strings, by opening the top panel.  It will then be added to our collections list.  We will contact you at least the day before we are nearby.  On collection day itself, the driver will text approx an hour before, so no need to wait in.

CHARGEABLE PIANO DISPOSAL CHECKLIST:

Is the piano straight string layout? (the strings are straight up and down, rather than diagonal crossing each other) YES = £99

Is the piano playable and tuneable, do all the keys work?  NO = £99.00

Is the piano suitable for a beginner to start learning to play?  NO = £99.00

Are parts of the piano missing, eg. keys, panels, fretwork, hammers?  YES = £99.00

Are there more than 4 steps or stairs involved in the collection of the piano?  YES = £99+

Is the piano flood damaged?  YES = £199.00

Does the piano have woodworm?  YES = £249.00

We understand that it can be challenging, finding a new home for a tired, unwanted piano. It can be quite sad too! We offer a complete removal and disposal or recycling service for unwanted acoustic pianos. Sometimes a home can be found; beginner, collectors, removal company training facility, theatre prop, export to poorer countries. If all else fails, your piano will be disposed of and recycled to government standards.
